OpenPLi - GreenScreen nach heutigem Update

Hallo,

ich habe soeben ein Update gemacht, aber danach lief die Box in einen Greenscreen mit Endlosschleife? Was ist jetzt los, hat mir das Update das Image zerschossen? ;(

Gruß

You probably ignored the warning not to update!
To "repair" it:
- restore your backup (if you have it) or
- open een telnet session and type

I have the ET8000 only a few days and so no backup. :pinch: I only could repair it with your tip removing the OpenWebIf-plugin via telnet, many thanks for your quick help!

When the problem is fixed, can i get the ObenWebIf back from the feed?

I hope you understand all, my english is bad. :S

Tomorrow you can install the web interface again from the feed and can again make an online update.
With your English is nothing wrong I can understand you perfectly! Your English is probably much better then my German, always having troubles with der, die, das, die. Der, des, dem, den unsw. :(

Maybe it is a good idea to look at the BackupSuite and make a backup so you can experiment with your receiver without any risk. A backup restore takes less then 3 minutes.

I'm sure you'll be very happy with your ET8000 once you get the hang of it.

Thanks for the info!
After the repair with your tip i first got the BackupSuite (V. 17.7) from the feed to make a backup tomorrow, when the problem is fixed and everything is complete.

The ET8000 is very nice, faster and has a lower temperature than the ET9200. :)

The problem is solved for at least the ET8000 and the ET10000 (confirmed). It is likely also solved for the other Xtrend models
