Changelog?

Some changes in the way of detecting the mounts, sometimes it is possible that the symbolic link /hdd points to the flashmemory and that is not the place where you want the back-up to be made.
Because of the changes of the way Openpli mounts USB-HDD it was necessary to test more thoroughly for places suitable to write the back-up. In the past a USB-HDD could be automatic mounted to /media/hdd but Openpli changed this, it is now mounted to /media/usb.
The back-up process itself isn't changed only the detection of the mounts.

Quoted from "Pedro_Newbie"

Changelog
Changed in version 9.2 compared with version 9.1:
- When making a back-up
the total size and free size of the back-up medium is reported , so also when a back-up is made to USB and other media e.g. mmc1
- When making a back-up to HDD and if a valid USB-stick is detected then the total- and free size is also reported.
- Made some code adjustments and clustered the detection of the models 9x00 and 6500 these using the same instructions on how to restore, the same goes for the models 5x00 and 6000.
- Some minor code changes

thx @ predro :)

Changed in version 9.3 compared with version 9.2 (a bit technical):

Rearranged the code a little so the parameters from the start engines backup.sh from the USB and HDD/USB modules are passed to the backupsuite.sh, therefore there is no need to define these again in backupsuite.sh
Changed the handling of the (error-)messages a bit so the code in backupsuite.sh is >15% smaller and a little faster (just about 15-20 seconds on my VU+ at a total backuptime of 3.45 min.)

das update kam übrigens auch schon per pli feed.

thx

Changelog
Changed in version 9.4 compared with version 9.3
  • Minor changes in the handling of the (error-)messages, stripped some newlines in some massages

Due to some well deserved holiday from Littlesat from Openpli, it will take some time before this version is online available in the Openpli feeds, so if you want to upgrade you'll have to download this version and install it or wait until Littlesat returns!

Again a new version

Changelog
Changed in version 9.5 compared with version 9.4
  • Better detection of the external devices suitable for back-up when using the option: Fullback-up to USB, now tested is the whole range /media/sd* and /media/usb* and also /media/mmc*, I saw that there are users with the media/usb-b for instance. Also now multiple partitions are checked.
  • Updated some translations, e.g. added "Additional back-up -> " and "available ". Used googletranslate for some translations so it could be that there are some strange translations
