Hello,

Like on every Receiver/STB, you can record all programs which were on the same transponder you´ve started your first recording .-)
There are still transponders which allow you to record 8 channels at the same time.

Hi Xtrendim
Thanks very much for the quick reply!
I am planning to buy one and this feature is important to me because I do not watch live Tv programs as I do not have the time, so I do a lot of recordings. Most important, there is this awesome feature which allows us to view our Tv shows and recorded movies anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection. Please tell me the followings,
1. Is it true that we are able to view our Tv shows and recorded movies anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection?
2. When watching the recorded movies, can we do a reverse or fast forward?
3. Can we watch recorded movies of format such as, Mp4, Avi, Rmvb, Mkv?
4. When we are travelling, is the picture clear and will the movie run smoothly without any short stoppage (what I mean is that the viewing process is the same as viewing it at home)?
Best Regards

Hello bumperbee,

according to your asked topics.

1. Yes that´s true. But of course you´ll have to take care, that enough internet bandwith is available where the ET10k is located!
2. Yes of course
3. Yes possible, too. Take into consideration container formats like .avi .mkv etc. can be a problem, because there can be everything inside .-) Nomally they run without problems.
4. Depends on your internet bandwith, like in topic 1. The viewing process is different, because you´ll use a tablet, smartphone or a laptop for viewing...

When watching live TV channels you can setup the transcoding feature on the ET10k which allows you to adapt the resolution and network bandwith.

1. PC?
2. iPhone & iPad?
3. Android Devices?

Hi bumperbee,

for PC (if you have Windows on it) you can use VLC.

As i personally do not own Android and Apple devices anymore, i cannot recommend anything here.
But of course there are several programs that can be used for nearly every Enigma2-based receivers.

Just a question, since I do not own a ET10K...

Does the Transcoding-Feature include the sound?
Because, most of the HD material comes with AC3 only. For Android, this shouldn't be an issue, but for the iPhone/iPad this is critical. For licensing reasons, there are just a few (expensive) apps which are able to decode AC3. This is why I am an "unhappy iPad-User", as I'm not able to stream directly icluding the sound.

Kind regards.

Hi Xtendim

Thanks very much for your reply!

Anyone who is familiar with the Apps
used for transcoding, please advise on the followings which I had found,

1. Transcoding for Xtrend”
at this address https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai…codingforxtrend.
Is this for Android or if there is other better Apps?

2. Another window Apps also call“Transcoding
for Xtrend” at this address, http://www.mobogenie.com/download-transc…nd-2996026.html.
Is this a better choice for Windows? I had also faced with one problem, after
downloading, and when I double click it to install, it will being to download
something else and Avast Anti-virus will appear and say it is a virus. Is this
truly a virus? What should I do?

I could not find any Apps for iPhone
or iPad, could someone recommend please?

Thanks very much!
