To say it in English...

The Dreambox Goliath is still "Vaporware". Nobody has seen it und there are no official announcements. The offer of this webshop is not seriously meant.

Quoted

support 4k, supporting fiber optic as a network standard, unrestricted Bluray support, and many more
Two things: when one looks at the price one asks - but I have a BlueRay Player and 4K isn't coming for another couple of years... In a couple of years who knows what there will be on the market and at considerably lower prices, especially if XBMC and Android devices get better - and they will get better over the next couple of years... So, as mentioned, "vaporware" indeed, for people with loadsa money and the need to be "in" more than anything trying to make their neighbours envious, hehe... :whistling:

Nothing there for me that I don't have or need, in short... 8)

OK, some small bugs but overall... I hope ET as a firm is healthy...

No need to pick up this old thread.
You´ve got all news in the OpenXTA thread from the last days .-)

No news there, I'm afraid, hence the question...

Moreover, it all seems a bit weird...

Never mind...
